Hi GMBC,

Do you fancy a social ride spanning two days?,

Do you fancy an 11am (ish) Saturday Morning start getting to your destination on pure pedal power alone?

Do you fancy staying in a bunkroom or twin bedroom for 50 % discount including a full english breakie the next day before mtb home again?(Bunkroom pp £15, Twin bedroom pp £18.75)

Most importantly do you fancy a slap up meal  and some ales n beers in an award winning Gastro Pub of the Year?

If you answered Yes then heres the details,

28th Jan – Sat am. leave Stewart Street Car Park with a little adventure bag packed with your overnight kit (Party pants, Hairdryers, Straightners optional) leave along the west highland way – playing whatever trails take our fancy en route to Balmaha – mandatory tea stop in Drymen – or pub for those requiring dutch courage for the descent off Conic Hill. Arrive Balmaha just as the sunsets and into the pub for another mandatory durty beer before a wash and some dinner. Relax, socialise and sleep ready to do it all in reverse the following day.

There are 4 spaces in the bunkroom and there are 5 twin rooms available. Roll Call so far; Graham A, Barry, Tony, Gerry, Alison, Phil, John, Sam, Davie, Lorna, myself and Ryszard. I will need to get back to Oak Tree Inn tom (25 Nov) at 5pm to give them an idea of how many are coming – short notice I know sorry! So those who are interested can you get back to me asap. 🙂
